OK, firstly id like to start off with our new tubing, just to clear things up, i know that some of you may have seen this type of tubing on another bike companies web page, but believe me they have had no involvement in any stage of the this tubing development, they did not come up with the idea or anything!

This was developed between me and a very good friend i have over in the far east who's knowledge of metal is outstanding and i hold the upmost admiration for the guy, and he makes tubes for some of the biggest cycle and motor bike companies out there. The other company was given the tube "picture" by a frame maker (not the tube maker) who makes frames for this company as well as for severed alliance (but not any more) and they thought it would be a good idea to claim for themselves.

They can not use it severed alliance have world exclusive and patent on it due to a very long time in development with my friend in the far east.

looks impressive doesn't it. Let me explain a little how its made and works

Basically this is not new technology it has been tried and tested for years on other products that use steel tubing such as building construction and so on and is used to distribute the strength and stresses of the tube more evenly allowing for a stronger build.

Think of it basically as rib cage this is not pressed metal or cut out metal it is 2 separate layers bonded together. The advantage of this tubing is, say you wanted the down tube on your frame as 34.9 in diameter and 3mm thick the severed alliance tube allows you to use tubing of 2.7mm thickness but with the other 0.3mm across the members of the inside of the tube not the complete tube saving weight but this actually increases the tube strength by 30% and decreases the weight by 20%
